any stratton insiders here knwo the course layout? the same as the US OPEN, or will it be built up again? info's much appreciated, i wanna know what i'm in for....thanks

 
I havent been up to stratton in a few days but Im pretty sure its gonna be the same as the US Open slope course...it was sooooo fucking insane...there was a Burton photo shoot here on Monday, and they built a 120 foot gap (120 feet to landing) diagonally over the US Open halfpipe. It was fucking insane.

those jumps/ rails are wayyyy to big for girls to be hitting. and not enough girls would even enter to make it worthwhile for them to invest prize money in

the course is the same as during the us open.

just because theres no girls category doesn't mean you can't be in it. last year they were giving girls the opportunity to forerun (at least in the pipe comp.)

and for once i completely agree with stu...a lot of the stuff in this course 95% of girls i know wouldn't hit

yeah, not to hate on the girls or anything but the course is pretty tech and its damn big. The jumps arent huge, I dont doubt the girls could hit a couple of them but the rails probably wouldnt be touched minus the 20 footer downrail

the course is the same as the u.s open, i was there today and watched a few pratice runs but i have no idea who qualified

stratton should just open a girls division...then if no girls show up, well they still 'had one', and if a few girls did show up, good for them...im sure a few could survive on the course, and its not like they have to hit every rail there...Grete skipped the 2nd rail at the US Open slopestyle and still won it no problem
