that tall lady was a totally busted too. she was trying to hide it with those massive sunglasses, and as soon as she had the stratton the coat on she acted like she was hot shit. the guyat the start i think his name was turk, he was the man and called her out on shit.
 
that look like such a killer time! The park ranger was wayyyyy out of line singling skiers out of everyone else to "pull there passes." And honestly who really acts like a responsible adult when skiing?There were just having fun with what they were allowed (barely) to hit. I've worked as a park ranger, and it does suck to fix and clean stuff up in the park...but its is the job. also throwing snowballs at gondolas are also really going to "break the glass", they were put there to withstand extreme winter conditions, a slush ball wont do any damage. They should have chilled out a bit and let it fly...the skiers would had been alot less "rowdy" if there wernt antagonized by the staff...esspecailly after the organization of the comp itself seemed to have failed.
 
that looked like so much fun - I had a friend who competed in the VTO and he said there were at least 100 kids altogether - it must have been CRAZY
 
The train was nuts and definately a milestone, but i'm sick of talking to 14 year old punks who think rushing the lift lines and running from the ski pos makes for some "epic balla ass shit".

This is just going to lead to stratton adding even more restrictions to park riding next season. And don't think that stratton isn't keeping an eye on whats popping up online for footage.

Let's just focus on the accomplishment of that sick ass train instead of rap-thumping, black-acting, armada riding toolbags who wouldn't have had the balls to do it if they weren't in a huge group of people.
 
can someone confirm if stratton has closed sunbowl for the remainder of the season, which would mean the best park/pipe in the east would have no lift service. If this is true, I'm never going back to stratton
 
They did it 2 years ago as well. We just hiked shit though. It was dope cause everything was in good condition still because no one had been able to hit it other than people that hiked.
 
I've never heard a more on-point broad generalization. You are so right, every single person that rides armadas does indeed thump rap. Also, they ALL act black! I looked over my Armada manual today, and in fine print, there was a disclaimer.

It stated: "Warning- All athletes riding Armada skis is indeed an enormous toolbag. Also, please be aware that you must "thump" rap music and act as black as humanly possible. This includes, but is not limited to: Wearing baggy clothes, talking with an accent/using derogatory terms, and causing chaos. Finally, athletes that ride Armada skis must be huge pussys, who certainly must not stand up for something they feel is right if they are standing alone."

Please let me know if you have any other perfect lessons/guidance/life secrets that we may not have been aware of previously, you fucking jackass.

the sun bowl will be open this weekend just to let you know...don't know what kinda shape it's gonna be in after all this rain tonight and the warm temps we expect but i do know for sure that they groomed the course today and hopefully cut the pipe as well

i personally will be hiking the pipe all day tomorrow with a cooler of beer and maybe a grill as well...all should feel free to join
 
We truly should get EVERY SKIER on the east coast to go to stratton this weekend hike up (so we dont pay shit) and train the VTO slopestyle course.
 
i think we need a new east coast event, to replace the VTO as long as its at Stratton aka Worship ross powers nutsack mountain

I'm not going to discuss the morality of either sides actions...but that train looked epic as all get out.
 
fuck that i saw next year vt open we get like 160 kids out and do an even bigger train. then piss on the park crews shit and throw snowballs at every mother fucker in site. that would go down in history as epic disrepect to cock suckers.
 
Some Truths About Stratton and the infamous TRAIN,/b>

1) Doug Bishop was accused of starting it - fucking hilarious. Doug and I had a good laugh over that.

2) The park rangers closed the park afterwards which was appropriate because technically kids were not following their instructions along with the warnings from ski patrol

3) #2 DOES NOT make Stratton gay or stupid or anything of that nature. It simply makes them a responsible resort.

The best part about trains is that they are a brief moment in the day. You can not expect to have a train that big and not get the park shut down.

However, what did bother me is that the train was the least of the problems. Employees were rude the entire weekend and treated media and athletes like garbage. Next year, it would be nice to not get screamed at for standing on a closed jump, with a media pass, trying to do a job. That was weak.

East Coast comps were poorly run this year. I hope next year they're improved.
 
another idiot on here.. jeeeessshh... we were just having fun skiing in a train until stratton employees started being assholes for no reason, so we were assholes back... screw stratton man, and i am happy to be fucking with their money in the bank because they are a bunch of money hungry bitches
 
well buddy you run the parks (so im guessing) you dont get any respect thats the way it works no matter how good it is someones going to have something bad to say so get over it (i work p&p as well so dont go geting all pissey)
