Ok, for the VT Open, to be selected straight to the finals, and not have to compete in the qualifiers, what kind of previous Competition history do you need? i know there are only 25 positions available, but i was curious how they are decided. Which comps are considered more qualified than others?

And does anyone know when the Slopestyle Finals are? Aren't they normally on saturday, and superpipe finals are on sunday. i know its far away, but i gotta start planning these kinda things with school, etc.

THANKS fools.

The past two years had slope finals planned for saturdays and pipe finals on sundays so i'd say thats a good bet.

Couldn't tell you about prequalifying but I'd imagine it's damn hard.

for pre qual people im pretty sure they just look at all the names and choice people they know / or have some what made a name for themselves

unless your a junior or rediculously good youll have to qualify

im sure the prequalified spots will be filled up easily

some insanse kids were there last year

I heard they have like a selection panel, maybe judges and event personnel, who look at the list of registered competitors and decide who should skip to finals. They don't have set requirements but I'm pretty sure its all industry people who do the selecting so if they haven't heard of you, then you probably don't belong in finals.

Yeah. They have a selection panel.. and i think i read in order to be considered for Semis without qualis you have to be registered before February 28th.
