VOTE!! Salomon Or Armada

Armada

Although I give salomon alot of credit seeing as though they're the ones that came out with the first twin. But they should stick to mogul skis

i've never skiied on either, and i know they both make awesome quality skis but i've heard that armada's customer service is amazing

So, Armada

Clearly an extremely well thought out, rational comment. given there performance in the past 3 years they are leading the freeride industry.

it's all preference dude, personally i think Salomon skis suck for park. if you like them good for you. they're a core company that i'm not much of a fan of, sorry :(

salomon.......like come on i bet you that all new comers in to the sport of freesking would pick armada because SHIT TANNER HALL ON THERE TEAM... but hey people who know there tru twin tips would pick salomon

i really dislike both but i'd say salamon for product quality and armada for where it has taken the sport

it was my first pair of ski i got. i started freesking last year and i progress so much......i had the line 1260 and they kinda fell apart maybe because i would just fuck them up the first half of the season till i finally learned how to properl hit rails and do 270s

armada for sure... way more durable than salomon.. ive seen too many sollys with broken cores and ripped out edges for ARMADA!

i have owned both 1080's, and t-halls, the two dont even compare quality wise, armada is MUCH better quality. Im an armada fan.

Park skis: Aramda

Big Mountain skis: Armada

Racing / crusier skis: Salomon

Bindings: Salomon by default

Boots: Salomon by default

Price: Usually Salomon can keep costs a bit lower, namely in the binding and boots department.

Quality: Armada

Armada: 5 Salomon: 4

Armada takes it for me, especially where it matters most (at least on NS.) Big mountain and park skis, as well as quality and customer service.

However, Salomon makes some sick fucking products. Old bindings, 916's, boots, and old AK rockets...and along with K2, deserve a lot of credit for the freeride movement.

you should only really vote if you have skiied both instead of jus being like ya dude i think there pretty so ya word jea ill son peep it

K2 had the first modern twin-tip called the Poacher. Two years before the 1080 came out in the market. Rossi also had this ski called the Vert. It came out in 97-98. It was a twin-tip but had a crazy deep super sidecut. Dynastar followed with the Twister the same time the 1080 came out, the fall of 1998.

i agree with this kid.... my friend broke the tail off his armadas and they sent him brand new ones and he only had to pay the cost of shipping
