yay, first! Absolutely! from the old fogey side of things, cults has too much of a negative connotation.
 
noooo leave it cults. crews just sounds wierd. if you change it change it to groups like stated above
 
Thats like changing "Ski Gabber" to "ski discussion" or "ski talk" you can't just change something like that. Cults > Crews.

Another suggestions maybe call them private forums if you want to change the name?
 
leave it as cults, I dont think crew is the right word. Cults are bigger than crews, like a crew would be a group of mates you ride with, hang with or whatever but many cults are more than that, like ladies men for instance, I wouldnt really describe that as a crew. If anything group would be more appropriate.
 
GOOD IDEA COMING UP I THINK

Maybe put the option of choosing. All would be listed under the same page: Cults and Crews.

Because to have Crews and not Cults would be stupid.

For instance... my home cult "The Shore Cult" would sound good as "The Shore Crew".

On the other hand... "Ladies Men Cult" sounds alright, but when changed to "Ladies Men Crew"... errr no. So that's what I think.
 
^they're just possibly changing the name of the category; they're not going throughout the site and changing every instance of the word "cult." You'd still be free to to name your cult whatever you want.
 
Can I change my vote? Based on learning the history of NS cults I now feel that this should be left alone.
