Vote for obama

little kids who rely on their parents' income are not allowed to post in this thread. If you had to make a living and depended on an economy you sure as fuck wouldn't dream of voting for mccain.

amen brotha

we're totally fucked if McSame wins in november, he's basically Bush just waaaayyyy older, and i'd rather not have Bush for another 4-8 years

o bam bam 08

even if he he is a muslim (which hes not) who gives a shit

wat does that have to do with his politics

actually, he's way left of bush. the democrats already won the election basically. yall should be happy youre running against mccain.

anyways, I dont want a guy that is trying to get a bill past legislature to give 845 billion dollars to the UN to end world poverty and take 3,000 dollars out of every american's pocket. Yes, I care about the poor, and I give my money to them(10% tithe for the catholic church), but the UN is corrupt and to make people pay for it is wrong. Besides the fact that it wont even come close to ending world poverty. LBJ's 5 trillion dollar war on poverty didnt do shit here, and our poverty isn't even half as bad as it is other places.

anyways im voting for mccain

"White people like Barack Obama because they are afraid that if they don't they will be considered racist" - Stuff White People Like

i wouldn't say "way left of bush" at all

McCain wants to limit the rights of detainees at Guantanamo Bay just like bush, he supports Bush's wiretapping program, he wants to lift the ban on offshore drilling, if elected he would make Bush's massive tax cuts for the rich permanent, he wants to leave healthcare up to individuals which Bush supports, he's against abortion and says if elected he would fight to overturn roe vs wade, and he is against same sex marriage

they're basically the same guy with the same views on the economy, the iraq disaster, and a blatent disregard for the Constitution

if youre serious about that, then I dont know what to say except how pathetic and far from the truth that statement is.

I don't like either candidate but your post shows why i'm being forced to choose from the least of both evils or however the saying goes. he's a christian.

because our political system has become too heavily reliant upon bipartisanship. otherwise i'd vote Ron Paul as a write-in.

thank you, also the best way to help the poor is to cut taxes and let trickle down economics work. When people and businesses have more money they spend it and create new jobs. I dont get where people started think we have a zero sum economy, just because one person makes money doesnt mean all the others are lossing. Obama wants to cut taxes for the middle class but he thinks the middle class is people who make 50,000 a year, where depending on where you live and how big your family is middle class can go up to 200,000 which he considers upper class. An finally i think he is a racist. The only person i ever hear bring up race in issues is him

Also 2008 is the year media died b/c they are so biased it isnt even funny

that is so true. in a perfect world, each candidate would recieve unbiased coverage. sadly they dont. and cnn is on obamas dick to a rediculous extent. if he proposed an "ethnic cleansing" they would back him 100%. but then again i guess fox news is the same for the other side.

way left, maybe not, but certainly left.

He voted for the amnesty bill for the illegals. He either almost left, or left the party in 2004 to be an independent to run for pres but didnt go through with it for obvious reasons...ex-he's running now

THE GREATEST QUESTION HERE SO FAR SHOULD BE WHY THE HELL DO DETAINEES IN CUBA ALL OF A SUDDEN HAVE RIGHTS? seriously, I dont understand it. They have limited rights, but the thought of giving them a "fair trial" and the same rights as actual citizens of our country is the most ludicrous and idiotic idea in this election. You people wanting to give rights to terrorists who fucking killed thousands of americans on 9/11 and are planning on killing thousands, if not millions more, are fucking stupid. Putting them in trials allows the identity of witnesses to be exposed. Keep it to military tribunals. THEY ARE FUCKING WAR CRINMINALS AND TERRORISTS. People like that do not deserve rights. Also, not everyone is having cock sandwiches in Guantanamo like in harold and kumar.

blatant disregard to the constitution? tell me where it says right to healthcare, right to same sex marriage, and formation OF A FUCKING SOCIALIST COUNTRY.

FUCK SOCIALISM

...they still get tried, they just dont deserve the rights of american citizens, which they are not, in a court of law. It's about the witnesses' identity too.

Sometimes I seriously have to wonder. How is it McCain and Obama are the "top 2" candidates? Seriously, it's 2000 and 2004 all over again. Choosing between the lesser of two evils. How is it the USA, which is supposed to be the best, most powerful nation in the world, is putting these two imbeciles as Presidential candidates?

I'm going to pull an H2G2 here. As long as we have to put up with garbage anyway, scrap anyone who wants power. Bring in some brain dead homeless dude who spends his days talking to his cat, make him Ruler of the Universe... err President of the United States.

I will be voting for Obama. Im registered independent, and He is the better candidate. IMO. Mccain is too old, to republican, and not what this country needs right now.

first off mccain is a democrat like JFK was a democrat. the democrats today are socialist liberals and there is really no one representing conxervatives.

Also my biggest thing against Obama is how he want sot tell people what to do all of the time. I heard a speech from him where he said we might not be able to have our themostat at 72 degrees or drive anywhere we want and so on. It is not the president's job to tell me what to do and not to do

When was the last time the government didn't abuse the power they had?

The sad truth is that the government will probably use its ability to indefinitely detain terrorists in guantanamo without any rights in order to lock up other perceived troublemakers who might oppose the current administration. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal if you agree with how

they're using/abusing their power, but just imagine if someone gets

into office who you completely disagree with. Would you want them to

have this power?

Bottom line

is the Constitution says you can't do these things. Considering that

document is one of the most substantial differences between us and the

folks we're supposedly at war with, it makes it hard to just brush

these things off.

Whoa whoa whoa, you did not just say that giving tithe to the catholic church means giving to the poor. Do you realize how little of that tithe actually gets to anyone who actually needs it? Your tithe is going to salaries, buildings, utilities, and paying off little kids parents that your priests tried to rape.

If you actually think that 1% of the money tithed to most (almost all) churches goes to anyone who isn't well above the poverty line, then you my friend have been sorely mis-led by your religious "leaders".

I'm sorry for completely going off the topic of the thread but you (and everyone who goes to church for that matter) should really look into where your money is going. I've done quite a bit of research as to what churches do with the money and its pretty disgusted as to just how wasted your "love offerings" are.

Oh and hell yeah i want Obama. Dudes got his shit way more on lock than McCain. Yeah he might have said there were 57 states in America, but McCain bumbled on a whole lot more important shit.

Yeah bringing an entire class of people out of poverty and allow them to contribute to the economy with the rest of the United States would ruuuuuiiiinnnn the economy.
