all of you... go get it, NOW. read it, read it again, laugh, enjoy it. take in some wisdom from someone who clearly has a lot of it and is a huge part of american literature.

 
Wow I didn't know he came out with a new book! I fucking love Vonnegut....bookstore is where you will find me tomorrow.

vonnegut is the shit, slaughterhouse five was awsome, i saw him on the daily show and he was great

Cat's Cradle was amazing, I'm definetely going to pick up this book.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. Kurt Vonnegut has no talent, in my opinion. Granted I've only read Slaughterhouse 5, Cat's Cradle, and The Sirens of Titan (horrible book) but they were all pretty bad. He tries to cover up his lack of characters and meaning by calling it "Satire". NO. You can't cover up poor writing by calling it "black humor" or "social commentary". Goddamnit, The Sirens of Titan was a horrible book! And the messages are always so simple in his books, so straight forward and obvious, how can he call himself a deep author. whatever, I'm just not a fan.

If you guys want to read Satire, read David Sedaris
