gear talk is not giving me good answers, are the volkl twos gonna be good on cliffs? im 6'0 so im going with the 186's and i just want to know before i go and buy them tomorrow if they will handle atleast decently on cliffs, i had JJs before as a pow ski and loved them.

I guess if you need a ski that can make your turns for you.

They're a cheater ski, like S7's, which is why they're in almost every rental fat ski fleet. Skis that make people feel that they are better skiers.

Not lively, poppy, snappy, or "ripping" feeling.

I have Volkl Chopsticks which are fully rockered and 128 underfoot and are much more fun to ski than any JJ or S7 I've skiied.

If you want a ski that'll spit you out of turns you'll love them.

I think that's a bit of an overstatement. the JJ is a great ski and if you suck at skiing you still suck at skiing.

I've not skied them but I'm going to say they won't be great on landings and are not much more ski than a JJ. They flex way way softer than Volkl spiel would lead you to believe and there's a hell of a lot of rocker on them. The flex is pretty even unlike a JJ, but the feel like they'll fold pretty easily if skied aggressively. It's a fat jib ski pretty much.

it's not a metal topsheet charging ski by any means but it's stiffer than the one/two and gotama. i figure if it's stiff enough for Ian MacIntosh, it'll be just fine for OP
