Yeah so I'm stuck! I weigh 145 and am 5'10" and I don't know if I should get the volkl walls or the armada halos need help who had both skis let me know soon

these two skis are night and day different. halos are gunna be super soft and buttery while the walls are really stiff, i can attest to the walls being stiff as i have them. super stable ski

^as said above walls are one of the stiffer park skis and the halos are quite soft flexing. It really depends on what you aim to ski, for smaller jibs I would pick the halo. Whilst for larger jumps I would want the added stability of the walls.

Halo - half cap/half sidewall, rockered, flexy and not symmetrical, really small turning radius

Wall - Symmetrical, fully cambered, stiff, pretty standard turning radius

So if you like buttering around, pressing, and don't carve bigger turns and rarely go outside of the park the halo

If on the other hand you enjoy carving, spend lots of time switch, want tons of pop from the camber, and something that will always remain stable, but cannot butter easily pick the wall

i have the halos they are by far my favourite park ski so playful and light, they are super soft and have earlyrise in the tip and tail. So if you like to nollie, butter and goof around on a softer more playful ski then the HALOS.

the walls will def perform better on the bigger hits and on ice and hard snow. its all about what you want to use them for

my little bro just got the walls, he loves them!

i have a bunch of friends that have them and they hold up super well!

but the halo is also a good ski but for a different purpose, from having them myself i can say they dont really hold up super well, but there a super fun ski

If you have strong legs gett halos.superfun everywhere, easy to wash out on big jumps until you adjust to the rocker. But worth it

How are they on rails and are they durable I'm not really familiar with volkls and are they light the volkl walls? And how stiff are they?

How are they on rails? Are they a durable park ski and are they light ? I am talking about the volkl walls by the way how's the top sheet and do they have alot of pop? I can get the next years walls for like nothing I just never used the volkl walls so idk much about them let me know all the things I asked

halos for the win i have demoed both pairs and loved the halos

personally i hate volkls because they are always such a stiff ski

I love my walls! I have had three pairs and all of them have taken a complete beating and hold up fine. They are stiff as mentioned before, and will be heavier than the halos, but they will offer much more stability and be better for carving, jumps and pipe. The halos are a light rockered jib stick that will be great for rails and smaller jumps, but they will wash out and chatter a lot while carving.

Really depends on what you will be skiing..

More jibs=halos

More jumps, carving and any pipe at all=walls

LISTEN. All 5 of my volkl walls blew out edges after about a month of use. If you ever plan on hitting kinked rails don't get volkls.

everybody im getting the Armada Halos i dont like volkl skis and the halos are so dope but now i just got to decide what size to get 176 or the 182s

i weight 140-145
