Volkl Wall

So volkl warrantied my previous ski (2016 Kink) because the tail blew out. Can't really complain about getting a basically free pair, but I've heard good and bad things about them. Who can tell me what they're like? Mounting Griffons from the previous ski, 177cm if that helps.

They are symmetrical skis, so usually are mounted dead center instead of slightly back from center like you usually do on the directional Kink. The Walls are a similar ski to the Kink but the Wall is a stiffer, snappier and higher performance park/all mountain ski.

Only complaint you might see about the Wall is that it's stiff but it does have a softer tip/tail so its still more playful than you'd think. Loved mine! You definitely got a good upgrade on an already decent ski.

Actually i think they are still a little directional but i do agree that a center mount is best
