At this piont in time i am going to purchase the 2015 volkl walls. I have heard mega amounts of positive stuff about them. just wondering if there is any negatives? has anyone rode them and didnt like them for some reason. cheers

I have destroyed mine in half a season. They delam easy. That being said I'm very hard on my skis. The edges hold up nice though.

Made in china. For a ski that you are going to beat them up in the park and you want them to hold up I would look for skis not made in china. Chinese skis do not hold up as well as American made or Austrian made.

Get yourself educated about manufacturing...

I've seen skis from brands made in Europe get beaten up just as fast as those made in China.

Just because something is made in 'murica doesn't mean it's the best

Dude k2 skis are super durable. My k2 PE lasted me a stupidly long time, pretty sure they were made in China. American made skis such as Surface and Moment have all had their durability issues just to name a few brands.

Austrian ain't perfect either(atomic factory)but from what I have tuned and repaired chinese skis don't hold up as well compared to stuff coming out of the elan factory or here in the US. Have personally not had a pair of chinese skis last more than 20 days before coming apart, this is k2(delam tip trough the rivets), line(delamed all 4 tips then snapped), volkl(edge delamed underfoot, happened for 3 warranty claims after that they just said no).

I also tune/demo at big sky where shit really gets beat up. You hit a rock pretty much every run above 9,900ft. We buy the most ptex out of any resort from sun valley sports.
