So we got these new race demos at work, and I am gonna take em out tonight and have some fun rippin' groomers. They are really sweet skis actually, I'll update on how they ride. It's super icy right now.. the park isn't even worth riding lately so I figured I might as well go make some turns. I love jibbing, but carving super fast is too much fun. Who knows, might be fun to get out of the park and ride some race skis...

What do you NSers think?? Personally I think race/carving skis are fun to ride once in a while, I might even take a lap through the jump line...

and...... begin discussion/hating

Yeah definitely, I like to think I am a good skier... was critiqued by a race coach and he didn't have a whole lot to say about my technique when I'm on groomers.. I ski way different in the park though.

They were SICK. Carved so beautifully.. when I got on edge and screwed into the turn the ski just came to life and held an edge like they were on tracks. So fun... and fast, I have never gone that fast on any twin.. I think I might grab an old race demo pair from work when I have the money.

Yeah all the racer haters on ns don't realize how fun carving race turns really is. I race and do freestyle and I love taking out my gs or slalom skis for fun. GS skis are especially fun to go carv down the mountain super fast. IMO Atomic, Volkl, and Fischer make the best race skis( I race on atomic).

im actually super intrested in these skis cause my school got a race program and i just do it to getin a couple extra days of skiing a week. I realized that twin tips just dont cut it so i could use a pair of skis like these kinda inbetween SL and GS.

yes so funi'm loving the fischer rc4 wc sl with the hole in the tip, dopest carving/race skis i've ever been oni rode slx's and loved them, they pop you out of your turn so fast

and the skis in the 1st pic are from another box, total 8 or 9 pairs, i forget how many. but those are just my sisters, we have a massive race quiver

i know what you mean about ripping the high end race stuff. My favorite ski to demo in my shop are our race slx from this year. being in new hampshire theres plenty of ice to go around sometimes and i have to demo most of them to make it easier to sell them.
