i have the volkl karmas and i have a question about them. My friend has them too, and this weekend the heel peice of his binding just ripped right out of his ski. According to a kid at cop not mentioning names (eric, he wears and orange suit) John Kozody ripped the heel peice out of two different pairs at a summer camp in whistler. Has anyone heard of this happening to the karmas??

maybe the binding tech who mounted the bindings messed up. I've always heard the Karmas have pretty solid construction all the way through.

my toepiece ripped right out and i gotta get em re mounted. what kind of bindings do u have?

do you have the karmas?? i have look bindings. And it wasnt the person who mounted them, because he mounted my friends skis, and all of my familys.

that kinda sux but it happens with alot of skis especially if they have been mnounted more than once or they have holes in the top sheet that go to the core allowing them to get water logged therefore the wood is softer

I got karmas this season been up on them like 20 times and had no problems at all. Must have been a shitty mounting job. Go to where ever you bought/got them mounted and get a refund or at least make them plug and mount them for free.

thats what you get for buying Karma's they are the worst ski ever I have never heard of anyone liking them. Stupid for buying them in the first place. Boo.

 
my karmas kick ass, best ski ive had yet, bomb proof with my rossi bindings, no problems at all and i havent heard of that happening either
