stiff as hell. They have enough waist for pow pow, but they have so much metal in them that they carve very well. I hear they can sink i tad since they dont flex, but they are definately high performance for a fat ski

they are deffinitley stiff no doubt about that but its something thats gonna help u ski pipe and anything that is firmer. Its a ski that you can actually have a good time skiing on to. the width thing really isn't an issue more of something you learn to use to your advantage like on rails just as a larger plateform. I'd say go for them!

nice ill def consider them

where to mount them is the question...on line +2 +4 what's the general concencus

volkl karma: it's the sickest thing to ever happen to skiing

I asked this ? the other day...I think i'm gonna mount mine +4...haven't really decided yet...atleast +2 at the minimum...I ride too much switch to mount them back

the karmas are fucking bombproof. they are a killer ski.

i'm currently tossing up between getting the volkl karmas or the Armada ARVs. What do you guys think abou these skis, like which one is better, i ski mostly big mountain with a little bit of park and pipe. Also how do both these skis go in the pipe. Any comment would be appreciated. cheers

I have the original V-Pro and the Karma is very similar. For sure it's the stiffest twintip I've skied or flexed. I really like them though because I'm pretty big. Very nice dimsensions and flex for skiing everything. Like someone said, they probably aren't great centre mounted because the waist is further back than a park ski so they wouldn't handle too nicely. I have mine mounted on the line and I can still spin them and slide rails so it's cool.

doesnt sound like anyone has anything bad to say, which is good. how much are they usually?

hands down best sk in the world. i just bought them this year....ahhhhh so sweeet

~To find the flow, one must first learn to quiet the common sense.~

th biggest problem with them is the $$ mine were like 350 or so with 40% off so go figure...i think i spent 525 for ski's + bindings

i have two pairs of them due to the fact that they are really the best ski i have ever had in the park and or all mountain they are worth the money and i am sure you would be happy with them the 177 is what i have and it is great

i like them cuz the stiffness, i only weigh 155-160, but like, my PE's chatter on hard landings a bit, never has happened with a volkl. i like that
