what advantage does the added 8cm add? im 5'10 and weigh 135.. but i was considering the 169. why should i go with the 177.. isnt that going to be a heaver ski, and hurt me in the air park wise

yea i def. dont want them center mounted. how far back u think? i ski mostly all mtn. 70% all, 30% park. not a huge park skier at all and i want to be able to CARVE! u think -4cm? -6cm? im not sure how much

Definitely get the 177. I have the original V-Pros which have pretty much stayed the same every year and became the Karma last year. I had them mounted on the recommended line and they were nice in light powder but not so great to spin on. I have them mounted +8cm now which is about 3cm back of true centre and is pretty much the balance point of the skis with bindings. They spin really nicely now and landing switch is so much easier. They fell a bit unstable straightlining though, but I'm using these only for park from now on. I'd say mount +8 for park, +5 for everything or +3 for freeride.
aight.. i think im gonna go -5cm from center. I'm still a little hesitent thought, because 177cm is larger than I've ever gone, and I just think the heavier ski will be great all mtn. wise, but I dont think Ill be able to do anything in the park.

dude, you'll be fine once you get used to them. i ski my made'ns in the park all the time. next year, i'll be skiing prophet 130s on most days...park included.
