Volkl Karma 185 Where to buy?

I've been to two local shops that are pretty close to me (Bay Area, Cali) and so far these shops are taking forever to get back to me. I'm going to swing by tmrw one more time to see if they can get in contact with Volkl about ordering this ski. If they can't help me out tmrw then I might just order the ski's online.

So far all the online stores aren't listing this size, I mainly see the 169 and 177 sizing. I haven't tried calling any of these sites to see about the 185 but just from browsing it looks slim. Is this size on back order right now and if not where would you guys recommend to buy from online that will have quick delivery?

I'm not hitting the slopes till Dec. 17th but would like to get the ski's a week or so before that to make sure I have everything together.
 
freeski1620 - thanks alot dude. I just placed my order through proctor jones site, should ship today they said :)

I was starting to panic because my local shop just got back to me and volkl no longer has them in stock so it just came down to finding the right site that had them in stock in the 185 size.

Can't wait to get the ski's, i'll be sure to post up pictures when they arrive :)
 
Don't worry we all know what they look like. And, you are gonna be so happy with the karmas in a 185. My friend has been rocking em this year and they seem so sick, he loves em. They are sick all mtn, and great in the park to.
 
volkl does have them in stock. I take care of special orders at my shop at I just ordered a full size run of the karmas including 4 185's. I geuss the person who told you was misinformed.
 
jjibs1219 - hmm thats odd. I've never dealt with the shop I went to but they were within 10 minutes of me and they are a recommend vendor on the Volkl website.

Maybe he was just blowing smoke up my ass and wanting me to purchase something he had in stock at the time. He said he talked to Volkl on Friday and most of their lineup was currently out and he wasn't sure if they were doing another batch during the middle of the season. Oh well, no worries since they are already ordered through the site and I should be seeing them early next week :)
 
Sorry to say but those 4 pair of 185cm Karma's are not coming. I wiped out the inventory of those about a month ago both in 177cm and 185cm. You may want to call Volkl back and find out. No more are expected in for the year and we have about 12% of those that came into the country. It would be awesome if you did get them, but I would not count on it.
 
ive already got the shipping info for them and they have been sent out of the headquarters in NH, expected to arrive very soon. unless volkl is blatantly lieing about sending product out, and giving out fake shipping info (highly doubtful) i would say there coming. If they dont come I will let you know and apologize for giving out false info as it had been given out to me.
 
invaderskier36 - no :( I didn't know newschoolers had discount on that site. What is the promotion code, maybe I'll see if it isn't too late to use it.
 
just an update. 3 185s came not four and there was one extra 177, so maybe these were the last ones available, or the order was packed wrong. either way its not a big deal. so yes we were both right
 
yeah we had one in stock before we got the new ones in....and we only have one pair left but its on layaway. so yea shits hot, 4 pairs in 8 hrs..
