so idk yet if the volkl gotama is a decent park ski. it has the demensions i want but i need to know about the durability....anyone??

med/wide ski. stiff, sort of heavy, has a turned up tail but is mainly designed for riding foward. A lot of backcountrybobs love the ski, and not because it excels in the park. I mean, sure you could jump and spin on it, but there are much better choices for that. I think next years are coming in dif lengths and have a little bit of tip rocker as well

If you're worried about park performance a line blend might be a better choice. Close to the same dimensions (132/100/122 vs 133/105/124) and more park oriented. If you are talking about next year's gotama's those seem very directional in construction and would not recommend them for park.

Go with the Liberty Helix - 105 underfoot like the Gotama, but much more park oriented, even though it kills the rest of the mountain.

I have the white goats.

They don't do very well at all in the park.

But they are fucking awesome. I love the ski, it shreds everything. I also have a park ski (changes several times seasonally) and bentlys. They are the perfect charging ski for crud, and light pow. They are actually extremely light though. lighter than my park skis.
