If you plan on skiing ANY powder at all, look into the 190 Ruby which has a flatter tail (like the M1) but a bit softer and wider. This would be a much better all-around ski than the M1. I have the M1 in 192cm and it takes quite some effort to remain afloat in anything over 6".
The M1 is very stiff. What size to recommend depends on how strong of a skier you are and how tight the trees are. I've found the 192 to be difficult to manage in considerably tight and steep sections and think the 182 version would be more suitable to you regardless of your height.
Not sure how they handle ice, but you'll find that they have no speed limit whatsoever on groomers.
