Volcano Vape, worth it?

Ok, My 5 friends and I are thinking about all throwing down $108 for a Volcano Vaporizer.

I think most of you are familiar with what that is, but anyways... we are looking at the classic, not digital, with the "easy" valve. For you non math-experts who didnt figure this out already this is going to cost us $540.

Now heres the issue, we know how the Volcano works, and we like the idea... but we really dont know if this is worth it. Is this just going to be healthier or is this really going to get us majorrrrr stoney mc stoned? So, I am asking you. Should we pool our money and buy this amazing machine? Or just pool a smaller amount of money and buy a dank ass bong?

If you smoke A LOT of weed and you're going to be able to split it up amicably at the end of you guys living together then yes.

You have to realize these things are German engineering and are basically meant to last a lifetime. So someone's gonna have to buy everyone out at the end. I've used a lot of different vapes, never a cano, but have friends that have used the same vapes as me plus a cano and they say the volcano is just so far above everything else it's ridiculous.

Also, if you're not putting headies in it, there's not much of a point. You'll make your money back from it anyway.
 
vapes are the most efficient smoking device (use the least amount of weed to get high) also, the way the weed is vaporized gets more THC in your body than burning it in a bong or piece wouldand it is healthiest, because studies have proven that inhaling marijuana smoke or "gettin high" doesn't damage your lungs at all, the damage is actually caused by the heated oxygen.
however, huge bongs, with chambers, ice stacks, and percolated stems are sick! and for 500 you could get a crazy sick bong.
 
No volcanos are not worth the money at all. There are many better vapes out there.

Imo high end glass > vapes, but I likes vapes too.

i had a one that i bought second hand from abuddy.. for me.. all the bowls tasted the same and it was not as fun smoking. it took the ritual out of it.. but thats my opinon yeah it gets you high. but i also belive that smoking a joint gets you just as high... so try one out.. but every one i know who has or had one .. it ended up on the table in the corner colecting dust whilst we ripped there brand new peice...
 
yeah it cant be your primary smoking device. its good for a change but its not good to use all the time. gets boring. smoke a blunt and pass a bag around at the same time.
 
People that are hating on it haven't smoked one. I've tried them out at some out at a vendors tent at a festy once. Found out about the spot from a friend. Was absolutely amazing. Could make midies taste like candy. Could make kush taste, well holy shit it was awesome. One of my friends has one. Have to replace the bags eventually but so much fun. Great to get if you split it between a few people.
 
smoked out of the digi for a few days back when I smoked- it fucks your day up- huge hits- soo smooth- yea- its deifnately worth it
 
You should just buy a da buddha vaporizer and with the money you saved buy a bunch of bud. Its different than the volcano, its whip not bag, but still works. Best vape for the price.

I don't think the Volcano is worth it. My bro's roommate has one and I've smoked with it a lot, but I haven't really noticed a difference between the Volcano and my 50$ digital ebay vape high-wise. I would just buy a cheaper one. They do the same thing, except the normal ebay ones don't give you the "Im cool, I have a Volcano" feeling.
 
The V Tower comes with a whip, the Extreme-Q comes with a bag. The bag is pointless for the extra $100. If you knew anything you'd let him save $100.
 
One thing I forgot to say. Whips are cooler than bags, especially if you get a good vape with a whip. I spent a while checking em out at a store around here and they have super cheap ones for 90 up to da buddha which is around 300. If you spend 300 on a nice whip, then 200 is way more than enough to get a super nice bong or each of you could get a nice pipe too. With 5 people you could get a really variety of pieces too, sidecars, gandolphs, spoons, etc. or just get a bunch of weed and have an inaugural weekend for the new smoking device.
however, if you do decide to get a whip instead of the volcano, make sure you take a look at the heating element. you want to find one that will get the hottest the fastest.
also, i don't know if i said it before, but look up the optimal burning temp for your vape. vaporizers aren't supposed to give you massive hits like a bong, so don't worry if you're not blowing smoke out like a train. you'll get way higher with a smaller hit off a vape, because the weed is burned more efficiently and the amount of thc you'll get in a good hit off a vape is around the equivalent of chalking up a massive bong.

this is gettin extra long, but if i were in your place, i'd get a vape with a whip for less than 300 (there's tons of great ones out there in the 200-300 range) buy a sick bong (my buddies just got one with a percolated stem, dual chambers, and an ice stack for 160) and a grinder if you don't already have one, if you already have one (that is small) go out and find the biggest grinder you can find, the sickest one i've seen is the normal circular design but 4 inches in diameter and about two inches tall in matte gunmetal grey SO RAW.

Yeah, loud machines that are less efficient at keeping optimal temperatures are definitely the way to go.

And the Extreme Q comes with both whip and balloon.
 
You must have some amazing one of a kind V-tower because that was a huge complaint coming from consumers. The Q in Extreme-Q even stands for quiet. The one I used sounded almost like an Xbox 360.
 
I assumed you meant v-tower extreme when you only said v-tower.

I just assumed no one would suggest a whip only vape when someone is asking about a balloon.
 
I kinda like the bag, you can fill it up once and just roam around the house with it. Playin COD? have a bag sittin right next to ya and you can take hits in between deaths or while waiting for a care package to drop. I think its pretty cool although I have only used one once.
 
Volcanoes are dope, no doubt about it. Top of the line, gets you retarded stoned and you can't go wrong.

But for the price its a little too much. Its better then the average $150 vape, but not $400 better. My advice is to get a simple one and spend your extra money on a ton of ganj to smoke out of your new vape.
 
Go with the V tower extreme, it is cheaper and has way more functions, and a remote. You can buy a $100 battery pack so that you can take it anywhere and it will still be cheaper. Plus with the potpourri warming function you can have it sitting out and it won't be immediately tagged as paraphernalia. It also has a whip and balloon function, volcano only does balloons.

He wants a vaporizer and you give him a combustion device. Just how dense are you?

A vaporizer is the most efficient way to extract every bit of psychoactive material while leaving behind the bad bits. Why would you burn something at 800F when you only need to blow hot air of 400F over it?
 
im dense, but you clearly are dense enough to not read shit on that website.

incredibowl is equally as efficient, smoother (odd concept), and just as healthy, designed in colorado for med patients, and got 2nd in cannabis cup for best product, and 3rd for best glass, but the only glass on it is the bowl. that should say enough.
 
I have the arizer extreme and love it. It does more than the volcano and is half the price. Ive used both as my friend upstairs has a volcano and the only difference is the bag takes a bit longer to fill in the arizer and the bag on the volcano has a valve that prevents vapor from being leaked out of the mouthpiece. Also the extreme has the whip attachment if you dont want to fill a bag. The volcano does not.

Some people have been saying that its mad noisy, but its makes the same amount of noise as the volcano when the bag is filling up and is completely silent if you use the whip.

And vapes are great if you are in a dorm because you dont really have to worry about anyone smelling it, as it smells more like popcorn than actual smoke.
