Voelkl vs. Atomic

Which should i choose:

Atomic Tweak or Voelkl's next year ski (think Gotama or V- Expression, not sure)

 
Unless you ski epic pow on a regular basis, why in hell would you think about the Gotamas?

Most people here are gonna recommend Volkls (me included) because they've put a lot more focus on twin tips and development of the sport than Atomic has. Atomic makes good skis, but not necessarily for the skiing we do; whereas Volkl has a solid background of good products, AND they're putting a lot of work into making great twins and putting them on the feet of good athletes. I'll probably be on V-Pros this winter.

yeah, after i get my pistols, im gion to be makin some more money and lookin for some V-Pros. cuz they kick ass like non other

anyone know if they tails on last years (the one with the chick on the tail i guess, kinda cartoon like) are?

ok, i never heard of anybody putn v-expressions and gotamas on the same list. And are u talkn about this or next years tweaks?

so much nudity and porn on tv, i just sit there shaking my fist at it!
 
Volkls. Atomic forces you to ride their binding, and I think all the sane people here will agree that the Atomic binding blows. And their skis are shit, 4 pairs between 2 of my friends last season, delamns galore.

i had this yr's v pros and i had some problems with the durability of em... i suck ass at park and pretty much newschoolin in general but i used em for everything, from skiing at killy to bringing em out with me to big sky... i loved em cause they were stiff as fuck, but the topsheet came off way too easily and i nicked off all the way down to the core... thats why i switched to the pistols this year (plus i wanted a fatter ski)... ive heard great things about the big daddies and sugar daddies and atomic's got great racing skis but i dunno about the tweaks...

 
Atomic freezome bumps are what I had. they were great for me cause I was just learnign about freestyle but they suck. now I ride for volkl cause I need a stiff ski. expressions and pros kick ass but unless ur a heli guide or something u dont need gotama or the other ones.

i hate atomic, his kid i know is sponsored by em and he's always having problems with them

i've had volkls (v-pros), they were sick, almost everyone on the freeride team here rides of volkl, they're good

My friend had atomics, and he really liked them, but soon after he bought volkls and liked them more. I'd say go with the Volkls.

volkl is also better is replacing the skiis if they break cause volkl wants their skiis to be the best so often they will trade u broken ski for new ski so they can improve their product.

Atomic has made whole new ski and its lot better than 02/03! so its kinda hard you to say anything about that ski because you probably havent ride with them:)

The only reason anyone would every ride atomic is if your some buff gnarly austrian ski racer...there's no point in putting any money into them when volkl makes amazing skis. Volkl makes everything so solid and sweet...twintips, big mountain, carving, everything! The thing with atomic is that they make beginner skis and high performance racing skis and nothing impressive in between those two categories.

 
dje is right man. volkl does it all. nice race skiis, very sick all mountain carvers, their Vskis, and beginner skiis as well.

im skiing on the '03-'04 Tweaks and they're killer. love 'em. get them..now. go!

the new tweaks are decent but dont have the kick you would expect from atomic skiis. the stiff racing technology was not transferred to their freestyle skiis. atomic freestyle skiis have the structure technology of the basic ski. it was blue last year with a fat clear tip with the atomic symbol a 10:18 I believe it was.
