does anyone else think its ridiculous what this guy in tight pants is saying on national tv for millions of teens to hear? what about of trash. this just reminds me why i NEVER have watched anything like these before now

And im getting a hint that your republican. Since he did do a little monologue on voting for barak obama.
 
i agree he is hilarious i loved him in that movie.
but the masturbation stint, him talking about the baseball making her feel like a virgin all that was too much imo

i didn't watch it, nor will i watch the footage, but get off your high horse. i've seen the commercials and MTV did a good job letting people know what it was going to be like. if you didn't want to be slightly offended, you shouldn't have watched- your fucking fault.

im not one of those people that get offended easy at all....but i do have a handicapped brother. and when people use the word retarded loosly, it hurts a bit. but it happens and im used to it......so i apologize for having an opinion on it.

I just think it was very crude considering the amount of pre-teens that are probably goggling over the VMA's. its fucking gross what americans watch on tv, im so glad i;ve lived my whole life until college cable-less.
 
is it just me or did it seem like there were very little people there? it seemed so much smaller than usual. i watched it for like 10 seconds because right when i saw britney spears get best female artist of the year i was disappointed.

totally was dissapointed in the vma's. they suckkkedddd, not saying that they are usually anything that amazing. best performance was prolly the lil wayne t-pain one or the lil wayne kid rock i guess.

 
i was browsing and saw lil wayne on the stage, no shirt, white jeans, hightops, and hooooly shit was he lowriding. ive seen people lowride more than him, but hes on national television. but then i was like fuck it hes lil wayne and changed the channel.

What that guy said was totaly offensive and over the line.. The hate on Bush (if you hate Bush thats fine with me but dont go brainwashing children across america about your opinions), then the guy continuously rips on the Jonas Brothers(sp?) for choosing not to have sex.. At least they are setting good examples to kids across america unlike bullshit MTV..

Now i know there is going to be someone that says "well you didnt have to watch it." and guess what, after i saw that part i immediantly switched the channel.
 
i walked in on my cousins watching a re-run today and i actually thought some of the shit he said was hilarious. if anyone was offended, good. people need to stop taking themselves and what other people say so seriously.
 
I really didn't think he was funny at all. Dude has some weak delivery. That said, watching the VMA's made me realize something. Either I'm totally out of touch with modern music, or MTV is. I'm gonna guess it's MTV.
 
wasn't hating on canadians, just hating on stupid people. if all of the stupid posts in this thread have come from canadians that's unfortunate but that still isn't me hating on anybody. just saying this thread is very dumb
