Damn...just listening to Viva la Vida from Coldplay. I used to be not a big Coldplay fan but this is really a sick album. Especially the song Viva la Vida...

apparently some lesser known band came up with very similar lyrics and melody two years ago.
 
IMO and strictly IMO, i like their older stuff more, but im not really huge on they, but they've done some good stuff.
 
its one of those songs that doesnt get old no matter how much i listen to it...and i'm not usually into coldplay's stuff..actually thats one of the only three songs by them that i enjoy.
 
i enjoyed viva la vida, but i can't stand the older stuff in the X&Y album and back before then, the vocals are just too whiney..eh, i like the new stuff though
 
anyone got a link? im not a huge fan of them but would like to check out the new c.d. and if it is really worth supporting them, then ill buy it .
 
i liked their old stuff much bette; x&y was a great album,. but viva la vida is a good song, so is on violet hill or something like that.
 
I looove Coldplay. I wasn't a fan of their early, it was too rock-ish. Starting at A Rush of Blood To The Head and onwards I love them. I especially like the new one because I love orchestra strings and lots of background synth.
