Got the vision and love them best touring ski for me ever. But the base sucks big time they dry out in one day of skiing and look Grey. tried everything to fix them and also brought them to two different very good shops they couldn't fix them either.line doesnt seem to care at all. So no the questions what ski is similar to the vision but from a nother company. Weight is preety important don't want to go above 1,7 kg

So what exactly are you referring to? They're not holding wax well? What exactly did these shops do to try and fix them?

Where did you buy them from and did you try to initiate a warranty? Line has always been great for responding to their warranties as long as the proper channel is taken.

I've been skiing on mine since mid winter last winter and haven't had an issues you've mentioned, so I'd reckon it's a defect.

There not holdind wax well. I wax my skis every 3 ski days. Already tried a stone grind. I'm pretty skilled when it comes to ski set up so don't think I made a mistake.Bought them from sport Conrad in Germany usually great when it comes to warranty. Tried to initiate warranty but line didn't care and the shop just gave them a wax job and didn't do anything else

I’d contact line directly. Heck, even hit up their NS profile page. They’ll get you sorted out, it sounds like your dealer didn’t try very hard.

Sounds like something is wrong with your skis or your skiing on a dryslope or something.

my vision 108s didn’t have any kind of issues like that over the 2 years I’ve had them.

I did however compress an edge on a rock strike so mine have been turned into early/ late season skis. I’m replacing them with the moment wildcat tour 108, which is about the closest thing I could find. Its slightly heavier and has more camber, but if your really set on switching skis moment is about the only other company making skis in the same weight category that have freestyle shapes. I don’t have mine yet so I can’t compare them for you yet, but I also thought the vision was the best touring ski Ive used so I am interested to see how the wildcat 108 tour compares.

No skiing on dryslope. Just ordered a pair of Bent chetler 120 for 350 bucks just to try if there a replacement and good for touring in the alps if not there just gonna be my pow skis

If the chet 120s dont work out for you as a touring ski and you dont want to pay the import on a pair of moment's or other american brands, I think you would get on well with our Pioneers, a few mm narrower at 105 and a little longer turn radius at 22m @184cm but we definitely created a playful touring ski like the vision 108, Blister had it right next to it in their ski spectrums in just about all the terrain types in their buyers guide so they definitely ski similarly.

Looks promising butt a little bit to much camber for my taste maybe combined with the bent chetler as a 2 ski touring quiver. But the pioneers are also a bit to short for me

If you’re serious about a 2 ski tour quiver, having the pioneer, which measures 184cm for the 184 (rather than the lines which measures a couple cm short, so your 189 is more like 187cm), for the the more tech/tight tours/rides, will make those kick turns a little less of a stretch/sketchy and they pivot on a dime in a tight spot. This would contrast nicely with the longer Chet 120 for deeper days and riding more open plane bowls. .
