Vishnus changed my life

The wides are sick too. Honestly a touch softer and heavier than the wets and that was it. Takes like a day of skiing to get used to and that’s it. No noticeable lingering cons that stick around… just felt weird for me going from an 88 to a 106 for swaps, reverting around, other shit etc

I meant touch stiffer sorry

Well my skis are 164cm I just wish Vishnu made some my sizing :( cause the smallest I think I saw is 169

Actually 177, how tall are you ?

5’5 close to 5’6

I see, I mean, 5cm isn’t gonna make a huge difference to be honest, you could def rock 169’s with no issues, I am 5’8 and Ride 170-177 skis so proportionally it would make sense to your height

it might be kinda a stretch but even the wet 177s would possibly work, they are soft and have a lot of rocker so they are a bit easier to control for somebody at a smaller height

Fair, keys would be the best choice then, I have never tried them but have heard good things.

but yea my homie has 186 Mangoes that I tried the other night and I kept eating shit lmao, skiing on a ski that’s too big can be hell so If you know ur range of comfort it’s best to stick with it and not push

I rly wanna experience the wides too. How soft are they?

tried both the wets and wides. the wides are just as soft as the wets, just that they get some stiffness from the width.

they feel more stable with the longer turning and wider platform. wets are more fun though but can feel like squirly noodles at times.

pretty set on getting the wet plus on presale. only reason for not getting them is the graphic. hope they cook up something sexy

oh hell yea, im sold now tbh

Vishnus ruined normal skis for me (in a good way I think). Tried using my Head Caddys for a day which I'd previously really liked and they felt like absolute dogshit. Even made made my dads poachers feel like a volkl 2x4.

I might have to spend a couple days on the pow boards every week to balance them out lmao

These are the best topsheet easily. No questions asked. Vishnu power rangers unite???

It’s my favorite aside from the mossy logs, if I could get my hands on a pair oh the things I would do to them

this thread is now officially the cool Vishnu topsheet thread. For talkin about ur fave top sheets or casually fighting to the death about which ones are the best

oh 100% I actively get mad when I'm riding my pow skis because they're so stiff and feel ridiculously heavy

Wets lmaooo

Interesting take but I definitely can see that if you’re just tail buttering the whole time basically lmao. They were a little too narrow for me when I was in powder, but it was also around 6-7 inches so that’s way too much for an 88mm waist anyways

I’m not sure I’ve ever had anything less than a good time in the right conditions. I’m of the opinion it’s not fair to say a ski sucks if it isn’t used in the conditions it’s meant for

V's are criminally underrated in 5 fresh inches of wet march "pow"

That’s cuz they’re not designed for pow ? that’s like saying your 130 mm underfoot is bad in the park, like yeah? Duh?

I’m getting wides on Friday so hopefully that will help the issue a lot

I have wides and wets, wides are easily better in pow and that’s to be expected, however they don’t really perform as well as my JJs. Maybe because my wides are center mounted. If you’re only using your wides for pow probably getting them mounted a few mm back
