Vishnu Wides or Wets?

for starters, my only use for these skis will be park. Right now im using k2 poachers which come in at 2071grams. I’d like to say im comfortable with something around that weight, the wides come in at 1944grams. The wets come in at around 1600grams, which is pretty fkin light, similar to the bent 95s i’ve skied before coming in at 1550grams.

I can easily say I much prefer hitting rails with a heavier ski, it just doesnt feel as good with a lighter ski and I feel way more control with something heavier.

I would much prefer flips with a lighter ski, but I’m pretty much as comfortable with something heavier, just feels easier with something lighter. I can cork as easy as I can on Poachers (2000grams) than i can on the bent95s (1500grams).

One of my other main concerns was swapping and spinning on/off rails. I can swap easily with my poachers that have a 96mm underfoot, but im scared the 106mm underfoot that the wides come with are gonna make swapping harder. But the wets are also tiny at an 86mm underfoot, seems to small to me.

So which should I pick.

I doubt the wides are gonna ruin your swaps and it seems like you’ll love em both on jumps, this might be lame advice but pick whichever graphic your prefer

defo gna go w the wides

If you’re hitting a lot of jumps I’d take the keys tbh, the regular wets feel way too unstable to me at speed, granted I’ve never skied the plus. Key is my favorite in the park over the wides, they spin easier and feel so snappy and stable while still being buttery, the wide in a 189 can feel a little lazy sometimes, albeit while being more stable/sturdy, but that’s just me. I think the key strikes a nice balance on rails between the wet and wide, as well as being able to carve back to the lift better if that’s your thing.

something in between at like 92-100 would be soo nice and would sell really well for them idk why vishnu would choose not to do that

Vishnu key?? 95 waist

I saw that but the whole point of getting skis from vishnu is to have them soft as hell… which is why im deciding between wide and wet

The keys are very soft still but not as much as the wets and wides

Did anyone screen shot the story about the new feature to the skis I saw they were adding screws to the tip and tail of some models which is a total L and some other new stuff
