Vishnu Wets vs wides

the wide is slightly stiffer.

"The WIDE improves on our original WET design with a subtly stiffer flex pattern for more stability at high speeds as well as an overall wider construction for added stability."

You’ll have a good time on both. I’ve owned the wets, wides, and wide plus, but I prefer the wides because they handle better for everyday conditions. Both wides (wide and wide +) hold up really well outside the park. However, I prefer the wide plus on the bigger natural hits because they’re stiffer and handle better at higher speeds. I’ve linked a video of how the wide plus handles in the pow/on the bigger hits.

sick clip, and how do they handle on super steep hills and chutes, I spend about 70 percent of my time in the park so I definitly want a playful ski, but the 30 percent of time I dont spend in the park I ski agressives blacks and chutes, could these skis do that? If they can Im definitively gonna get the skis but thats the only thing stopping me right now.

Depends on what you mean by “if they can”. Like ya “can” ski hard double blacks but its not going to be very enjoyable. Its the best park ski but for some riding context, id rather be on my old poachers for chutes and double blacks and that says a lot. Compared to my Jeffery 102’s its not even close I literally wont ride my V’s anywhere else but the park and I wont ride park without my V’s. They are wayyy more fun than Jeffs in the park.

Imo they are not good for riding outside the park but because they are fat, you get an ok amount of float. Go read the Wide roofbox review

Appreciate it dawg! I honestly think they handle really well. The only defect you might see if you're hitting park and riding them on the rest of the mountain is edge control. But that's not necessarily a wide/wide + issue; that's an issue you'll see with any ski as the edges become dull. They're by far my favorite ski to ride in the park and all-mountain, but I also like a noodly ski. I was riding my wets on some pow days last year before I had my wides mounted and it was honestly pretty fun. Made me feel like I was doing in a hill bomb in San Francisco in a GX1000 video. Here's a video for reference:

Hope you enjoy the skis!

I kinda feel different, alot of steeper stuff runs out to something fun, sure id want my jeffs at the top, but then near the bottom id take my wides for the rest of the way. idk this out west tho and the wides do not feel fat at all.
