Thinking of getting Vishnu wets

183 or 189?

I’m 5’11 still growing and 135 pounds

I like big skis (skied mantra 191’s and my daily’s are 188 revolt 104s) but am still new to the park scene so am thinking of possibly sizing down for a lower swing weight, but I like to charge so the extra length would be helpful for extra stability because of all of the rocker.

what do u guys think? I ski pretty aggressively and want the ski to be super playful and buttery while still not being a noodle, but I don’t have too much experience jibbing so maybe a smaller size would help?

Since I have revolt 104s I’m thinking of getting the regular wets because the wides are 106 and I think the thinner waist would be easier to learn on even though the extra width would be more stable. Don’t want to have both of my skies too similar.

I was thinking of blends but the durability of vishnus makes me want them more, but I have heard they decanter quickly, anyone have any experiences with that?

I think I’m leaning more towards the 183’s because I never really skied reg size skis for my weight and height and wanted to try them out. Who knows tho maybe I’ll hit a growth spurt and regret it, I’m size 14 in shoes so it’s probably gonna happen sooner or later.
 
You are already skiing a 188. Vishnu’s are very rockered. They will feel much shorter and you are 5’11”. I am 5’8” and I would ski the 183.

But get the 183 if you want. Don’t let me bully you into 189 haha

Ended up going with 183 thats what the guys at vishnu recommended and i just had a gut feeling to get them. Got the broken glass graphic bc it would look sick with the hharlut pivots i got.
