VISHNU WET/+?

Wassup dudes, finally figured imma buy a pair of Vishnu’s for the coming season, only question is which is more suitable for me. I’m 6’ and 195lb, usually spend most of the day in the park mixing it up on bigger jumps and rails. Wondering if the wet will be enough for me or if I’ll wash out being a bit heavier on em for the length of 183cm for my height.. that’s why I’m considering the wet plus for some added stability, looking for a ski to butter around but also be able to make decent turns and not wash out too easily. Lemme know some of your thoughts on preference with the wets. Thanks!

.. also putting a pair of white pivot14’s on em, which would look dope on either topsheet I’d say

Rode the Wet 183 for 3 seasons and have been on the wides for 2.

If you're looking for information on jumps, I can't help you there, but on rails, trannies, and everything inbetween, you're solid on either the Wet or the Wide. They're playful and durable as can be, 10/10. I'd buy the wides if you like to get outside the park on a powder day tho. The Wets had enough float in dry Montana powder, but struggled in heavy PNW Powder. (6'3 at 180lb)

At the end of the day I think it comes down to personal preference of a narrow or wider ski.

Appreciate it! I live in Wisconsin so don’t get any real powder and have a pair of armada jj’s for any chance of powder or bigger mtn skiing in CO. These would just be for park, buttering around, jumps, trannies. Were the wets almost too soft or still enough stiffness to land if not in full control?

I land backseat more often than not on the bigger stuff and have no problem with washouts! Unless you're throwing dub 12's off the biggest jump at your resort, your landings should be solid!

They're light as can be too. I've got the all metal FKS 180's on mine and they're still light as a feather and perfectly balanced when spinning or on a rail.

Having spent the past 5 years on Vishnu skis I can confidently (with heavy bias) say you'll be hard pressed to find more durable, playful and responsive ski :)

But back to your question... they're both solid

dope! Appreciate the input, real excited to whip around on a lighter ski and flex on em, you ever have a look or feel of the wet+ ? other than that think imma have to buy the lime bubbles topsheet and strap some pivots on em

The plus versions are new this year, I am curious tho! Don't second guess the flex, I've got a 5'10 220 buddy who rides the regular Wet and sends it in the air, happy as can be :)

If you got the cash grab em before they sell out, last year I heard they only made 20 of each graphic/size

what you ride, the wet or wet plus?

I ride the 183 wets and they are pretty damn durable. Only problem with mine is one of the edges on the nose is coming off but most likely user error and trees. Don't think they aren't flexible though, they will bend and look like they will break but you end just looking steezy af. 10/10 would recommend, i regret not getting the fire flower topsheets smh

Wheres that new GRAPHIC at guys? I'm tryna get some thermal sensitive bad bois
