Vishnu stigma

I’m a all mountain skier and I’m picking up a pair of wides. I want to get better at rails and I’m working on sliding kinks and learning more rail tricks and I wanna get better at park. I’m worried that I’ll get chirped for having Vishnu’s because I’m Dookie at park, What u guys think?

just make sure you wave your arms like one of these things

even when you get on and off the lift

It might be harder to learn tricks on wides if you are just starting park, but i wouldn’t worry about being “not good enough” to use them

Never worry about what others think about you or your gear etc. Do it for you. Shine on what you might think others will think!

I suck at park and mostly ski all mountain and have loved the wets, especially for skiing tight east coast trees, wides will be sick for sure. I love doing tree and rock jibs and those are kinda similar to street skiing if you think about it

Don’t not get them because of a perceived requirement of needing a certain level of skill in order to ride them

BUT

Speaking from experience, you may not want to ride them as your first park ski. They are amazing skis (I owned a pair of wets for a few seasons), but if you’re just starting out learning park it would be like buying a 12 gauge shotgun when you’ve never even shot a BB gun. You might enjoy them more after you’ve learned your way around a park a little better.

people will tell you Vishnu's are hard to ski on but that's not true, they just feel different and need to be worked in a bit. The only thing I would note is that charging fat all mountain is 90% sketchier and 100% more fun :)

As far as park is concerned they are super fun to ride, I could sesh the lamest feature with them for hours. On rails they will feel very slippery at first if you aren't used to them, but give it a couple runs and you'll be ripping if you know how to hit rails prior.

If someones hating on you because of the gear you use then that's their insecurity. Vishnu are a great brand and you are supporting the industry.

Go for it.

just dont publish videos of sucking, the comments will get you for sure, but in reallife most people like that wont say anything to your face. so your good! have fun!

Wet + is by far the best ski I've used for riding switch in any terrain. Most edge catch proof ski if that's a thing. Tree skiing and moguls are also fun cause they float and can turn fast. Ski tracks says I've done 70 on them and it was only sketchy cause it was overcast with frozen slush bumps at the end of the day.

I’m still gonna be doin mostly all mountain Jib but I agree

ur prob fine but I’ll see a couple of these spoiled 15 year olds at the hill with v’s who can’t slide a rail and don’t know what a nosebutter is. And they act like they’re the shit. I never care what others do but that shit gets on my nerves.

so yeah don’t be a dickhead and I can assure you nobody will care doesn’t matter how good or not good you are
