I know this is the most popular topic but still.

Are vishnus really that great? Hows the durability, shipping, are they too soft?

Im looking at buying vishnus for next season so I would like to know as much as possible.

And how is the shipping to eu?

yeah i know but cant find anything about shipping to eu

Shipping is expensive, and you’ll have to pay EU once it lands, the exact details are country specific. In Austria you need to pay tax on the total amount (ski+shipping) and they pretty much catch everything coming in, other countries dgaf.

If i remember correctly someone said that shipping+taxes to finland is around 700€

If you really want Vs and really want to avoid taxes, you could work out something where someone you trust in the US orders two pairs and mails one to you as a gift or "used item". Less trouble just to buy skis from one of several European indie ski brands- 1000, Simply, Movement come to mind. You could also look at the new Salomon Depart, Black Crows Mirus Cor or something along those lines.

If you shop carefully you could probably get 2 pairs of skis for the price of Vishnus shipped to you, especially if you wait a little longer for when the deep discounts start to hit as retailers try to liquidate stock in the spring.

They are quality but this whole idea of a ski being "good on rails" is a myth. They have riders on the team that are nasty on rails but doesnt mean the skis make you any better. Alot of young trend riding socail media consumers cant handle this truth...

yeah i know i mean that the skis are light so i would belive it would be easier to do swaps etc compared to a 100mm heavy all mountai/park ski
