Vishnu should sponsor Siver

It seems to be that Siver is in between sponsors. He’s been riding edollos and on3ps for a couple months from the looks of it.

the keys are dropping for next season and seem to be a ski he would enjoy.

@vishnu should sponsor the man and put him on those keys

Siver would for sure ride wet plus if he went over to Vishnu. Would love to see him in the team street vids or a child labor cut

I’ve been thinking about this for a minute, in terms of audience, silver has a huge one and it would prolly be a smart move to pick the man up, I feel he would love the skis. Also would love to see lupe hagearty on some Wides

Hahahaha, this mans is looking to get paid. The last place he should be going to is Vishnu. Hopefully he get's on Armada as that would be a dope fit for him. If that doesn't work I could see him riding for J skis.

Vishnu already has a heavy team. Rather than add more riders they should focus on the riders they have so they don't end up like ON3P. ON3P had to many heavy riders and realized they weren't going to be able to keep all of them hence why Hackel went to Joystick and now Siver has left. When companies grow/boom they need to be careful they don't cause their own demise such as adding to much instead of keeping things small and close knit. I think Vishnu could probably pull it off but it also might be smart not to as well.

Yeah if siver wants the bag he has to go with a big brand

the dude has 1.5x more followers than the Vishnu account on the gram...he's not going to get on Vishnu

Isn’t joystick a pole company?

Yeah joystick is poles although I think they have some connection to surface skis. Could be wrong there. Either way I'm pretty sure he's still on on3p

hell nah he’s not vishnu material in my opinion

he needs to be back on the ON3Ps he looks the most natural on those

I remember a convo I had with someone and according to that person non of his sponsors payed him. I don’t know the siver personally but based off how much he skis and travels to ski I don’t think he’s in it for the money. He just seems like he loves to ski and does that with any free time he gets.

Hackel is most definitely still on ON3P and Joystick is not a ski company.

I'm sure Vishnu would pay their riders if they had the means to. I doubt the guys who run it are raking in a ton of money.

Sorry to say, but i’m pretty sure he is not going to get another sponsor. He’s been talking bout getting a proper job and saving up money, and then keep skiing as a freetine activity.

Totally my bad. Meant that he is now working with them as well as ON3P. I know they used to make skis plus had a partnership with surface as well. ON3P has a stacked team so now that it's time for them to pay up it will get interesting. This is the main contributing factor as to why riders are picking up additional sponsors. Siver has one of the largest social media followings on insta for a film skier plus his following is also comparable to many comp skiers. I feel that he has the clout to land him a solid deal so he can get a travel budget etc but will se what happens.

So rather than pick up additional riders their goal should be to pay/ give a travel budget to the top riders they have aka Cal Carson etc. These day's there's a good amount of kids in the park with Vishnu's so there def selling a solid amount of skis.

For sure, it's been a minute but they're not really in the spotlight normally. From what I hear they have a lot of cool stuff in the works though. Sick smalltime skier company

I don't quite understand why you say it's time for ON3P to pay up, however I completely agree that siver is an amazing dude and one of the most talented and fun to watch skiers out. I'd love to see him get some corporate deals and make some cheddar just putting out his own edits or something. Whatever he wants to do. Sort of how Quin got himself an agent and got hookups like Spyder and whatnot. Power moves from the homies

I heard that Lockheed Martin was going to pick him up so that they could use his incredible spinning abilities to develop new aerospace technology

I spent over ten racks on the team in 2020, including season passes, travel, and even rent/food. Most of you don’t know what you’re talking about.

You have a lot to learn about the ski industry hahaha. If you want to pay park skiers you don't focus on selling park skis as everyone does that so if that's you're thought process you're a noob.

You sell a ton of all mountain and big mountain skis to a bunch of "chad and brad" finance guys from NJ and NY and to "Steve and Tim" type tech guys from San Fran. Once you get all those shitheads paying 600 for a new pair of skis every season you take that money and use it to pay for everything including your athletes; aka exactly what J skis does. Go to any well known resort on the east such as Killington, Loon, okemo and any where out west and you will see a ton of dudes in there mid 20's to early 40's riding J skis.

ON3P has Hackel and Mango who are two of the most well respected and followed film skiers in the game. Mango won X games real ski and Hackel was extremely close so these aren't just some up and comers and low key guys. Both of whom should be getting paid and if they aren't could easily leave and sign a nice ass contract. So rather than focus on building a team they should focus on the skiers they have and making them happy since there athlete team is already stacked. Obviously if ON3P is already doing this they could try and keep Siver it just depends on if they can swing that.

That is the point I was making, focus on making sure everyone is getting their cut before trying to add more riders to your team.

I like NS because people can act like there made up speculations are true and then get told otherwise by the company and athletes themselves.

Great thread. I been watching and I’m thoroughly entertained. This post is undoubtedly the only one with any shred of truth to it.

Thank you Emmett for giving skiers money.

Ski industry genius right here.

Huge respect. Apologies for what I said earlier in the thread which was clearly incorrect. Shouldn't have been talking about something I didn't know anything about.

Who the fuck cares which ski company he chooses to embarrass next season with his shitty skiing. This thread sucks.

Sometimes I understand your hate but this is beyond ridiculous. Siver is one of the most tech rail skiers in the game with extremely flawless style and also has a nasty jump game.

As far as everyone acting like people are hating on Vishnu that is not what's happening at all. That's dope they dropped 10K on riders last season and I'm hyped on that. That being said they should stay focused on those core riders first. As far as Siver he could def make a real sick Real Street part and start getting the credit he deserves. I don't personally know him so I have no clue what his aspirations in skiing are and that is what his contract will depend on. He has a large social media following which will entice bigger companies so as long as he can convince them that he's worth the money then he has a strong chance of securing the bag. It could go either way as far as him skiing for fun and not caring or getting on board with a company like K2.

Well my guess is Covid has had a big part to play in some of the team dynamics. Also keep in mind that some people are not always out for a paycheck, or at least the biggest one they can find. Money can be great, but having a fantastic relationship and being proud of what you're representing is extremely fulfilling. I don't know whos getting paid or how much or any of that, but everyone has their own reasons for their own sponsors, not 100% of which is money.

Also just forgot to add that Hackel and Mango are easily some of the most creative, unique and talented skiers I've ever seen. There isn't a company in the industry that can truly pay them what they're worth imo.

Hello ns im sorry about my son skierman he was born with extreme tourettes syndrome and unremovable cold sores trapped under his foreskin at birth so he grew up to be a little edgy. Ive been living with him my whole life so im going to be his translator for now.

What he meant to say is “I don’t care what company sponsors Siver because he will ride the same no matter what skis he is on. This thread is unnecessary”

lot of extraneous comments here, let's keep it simple: J skis is not where a rider goes to get a good salary so your comment was bizarre and off-target

VISHNU boss should acquire himself a sick truck with a Vishnu graphic on it before sponsoring someone else. Tax favorable terms for buying yourself a company vehicle too - write it off.

The demand is high enough here - Vishnu seems to be hot af right now. Treat yo self.
