Vishnu graphic stories

Those of you who have never bought vishnus probably don’t know the effort that Emmett goes to to make the customer really feel like they’re forming a relationship with a company. He hand writes a little thank you note for every single pair of skis sold and also has included a little backstory of the ski graphic. Not to mention all the other bonus stuff that came with the pre-orders. This is the graphic card for the river wets:



I really made this thread because I’m interested to see what these cards say for the other graphics. So if you bought vishnus this year please post a photo of your little graphic story card. I wanna see ‘em.

But I thought while I’m here making this thread I’ll also make it a praise for Emmett. Fucking props dude. Absolutely killing it with this customer relations shit. And it’s awesome that it’s getting better as the company gets bigger. I bought a pair of wets back in 2017 and they didn’t come with as much “personalised” stuff as this years drop did. Just another thing that sets vishnu apart from other ski companies.

I'm not home ATM but the cals sheet talks about how him and Emmet wanted to make a ski with Legos on it, (the one on there instagram. It was pretty much the same as the broken glass but instead of shards it was Legos,) but they ran into copyright issues. Emmet used to do glass work and he went outside and filled a bin with shards of broken glass and took a picture. Sent it to a editor friend who made some color changes and such.

100% screwed that up but you get it

That’s very interesting. I went to a Van Gogh live show where they had his paintings all moving around and stuff. And it also had a bunch of quotes and information about him just telling the story of his life kinda thing. He was a very morbid dude. Those final words sum it all up really

I have the cactus. on the two planner podcast emmet explained the orange top sheets (my favorite) and how he has a story and meaning behind everyone topsheet, I’d love to hear the story behind all of them…. Having a story and meaning behind all of the graphics makes skiing the skis so much more enjoyable

I went to one of those shows in vancouver with my parents. Thought it had a really cool atmosphere, especially with the music.

If definitely is honest relationship. Also. It's better to keep a customer then find a new one. He's got a good plan going for him and his team and definitely skiers that ride the gear really enjoy it.

If the Key dropped with like a 106-108 width, and worked well dropping into chutes I'd cop a pair to fill out the quiver. lol

Fair. I’d say I spend a little less than half my day in the park and essentially no street where I live and wides are the only ski I grab now. I think you’d have a lot of fun with wide plus in more techy steep terrain.
