Vishnu Fire Flowers binding colors?

First off, while the line blend shenanigans are happening, I’d like to give a huge shout out to [tag=85472]@Anders_F[/tag] for hooking me up with some Vishnu wides at a real homie hookup instead of trying to make a crazy profit. That is very very core.

NS, should I mount them with forza 1.0 or all black pivots? I could mismatch but they are 12 and 14 not really sure how much that matters. What y’all think?

go ahead and mix those dins, it will look sick when your ACL and meniscus are splattered all over them!! totally custom color way and you'll be able to stare at them for the rest of the year and not get them dirty or scratched

Maybe I’ll just cop your blends

You're so mad lmao

Appreciate ya, I annoyed the shit out of most team riders on IG who are all unsurprisingly really chill. There could be another brand new pair of 183 lime wets out there too ;)

Black. And congratulations on that good deal!

Haha thank you. Dudes free to do whatever he wants but I’m gonna flame him on here for pulling that stunt lmao

I love the call out here OP ???? also defo go Forza!

It’s a shame there aren’t more colors to pick from. Purple would look sick… having said that go with black. The yellow/orange ones are kinda played imo

Legit question not for Nicolas cage:

Common sense would say different springs for heel and toe doesn’t sound the safest but I see people with mismatched pivots all the time and wondering if it’s safe as long as I have them calibrated at a shop? Will a shop even calibrate them?

Dude won line blends in an NS contest and is trying to sell them for retail on here. He’s convinced they are 1/20 (they’re not) and he’s been a douche when people point out the obvious

I just read that thread hahaha makes sense now, go with forza they are timeless btw

Because of this thread, I just read the other thread. Wow. What a guy. He won’t sell them though. They’ve been available for awhile if you know people. He’s going to be waiting a LOOONNNGGG time to sell those at retail.

Also, forza color like on switchlip2’s skis looks good. Black is safe bet too though

OP mismatched pivots are the dopest shit you can have, and with two full pairs you can mismatch em however you want

what? no, p12s and p14s are literally identical besides the spring and DINs are industry standard and he'll obviously set the same DIN on all 4 pieces. a shop guy might balk at it but in real life there's nothing even remotely dangerous about this

you understand that it makes absolutely zero difference to mismatch? He's not running either pair at max din, and if he was he wouldn't even have these bindings. As far as I'm concerned, a din of 8 is the same din on a pair of pivot 12s as the din of 8 on a pair of pivot 14s.

I’m thinking forza toe pieces and black heels. I figured the different springs shouldn’t be a problem but will a shop calibrate them for me or tell me I’m an idiot for putting the “wrong” bindings on…?

You're just gonna have to contact a shop. I don't see a problem with it, but Im an average joe not a business paying insurance to cover liability. I'd almost bet if you just gave it to em they wouldn't notice.

Smart man right here. Also all im gonna say is if you got lucky enough to win a giveaway and then turn and try to squeeze everything out of it, karma is gonna be THE biggest bitch.

Nah he’s on his spiritual snowboard quest now. He wrote us a goodbye letter and all.

I think he should keep the blends and maybe mount them center and learn to ski a little more park.

"homie" price (which isn't actually homie price bc blends are genuinely a shitty ski) on those skis is 350 and that's enough so that everyone makes it out happy.

also, to the shitty skis comment before anyone tries to defend the blend, if flow deal riders trash the shit out of the skis to you on the lift there's something to be said for that.

yeah exactly, it's hard to say, idk if there's technically a rule against it and if the shop would care to worry about it. i've always done mine with techs i know. i think this guy is right, you might just not mention it and see if they say anything, but may be more prudent to ask first. if you have options and a shop says no you can say oh okay i'll go somewhere else
