so, you are saying that you will step in mud (presumably in a completely different pair of shoes or barefoot) and then proceed from wherever said mud is to wherever said vis-shoes are, and then step on said vis-shoes. This seems like a lot of work and very impractical. May I suggest simply stepping in the mud while wearing the vis-shoes, in order to simplify the process and avoid ruining a completely different pair of shoes.
