I guess there is a big argument about how these commercials are presented, are they too violent or do they prove how safe the cars really are?

I think they make a good point.

wtf? violent? this shit happens all he time to people. it can happen to anybody. if people are gettign mad that it actually shows real people getting involved in a crash and it shows what it looks like, then they need a dose of reality. when cars hit, rainbows dont come out everywhere and evryone happily exchanges insurance and have a dandy day.

yeah exactly, some companies will show the car in a commecial at a crash test moving toward the wall but you never see it hit. i think VW has proven how safe their cars really are, the jetta anyways.

in canada we have remarkably similar ads for drunk driving. But instead of an inane conversation its some girl ragging on the driver for drivign drunk and then they crash and they all fly through the windshield....

Another one, dude is walking through the park talking to a guy about driving drunk and this car comes off the road and runs him over....powerful stuff cause you don't expect it.

those commercials are excellent. as are the ones from MADD where like the kids are partying in the car and the subtitles say that some number of people are killed every year by drunk drivers...and a cop pulls over the car...and then the cop gets smashed by another car and lands on the hood and its like "constable ____" was one of them. insane

i think theyre good comericals but they do scare the shit out of me. probably because driving is already one of my least favorite things to do since ever since i was in an accident.
