What program do you guys use to make the designs for your sticker?and any advice on a decent start out cutter?
 
me and a buddy started a couple months ago.

we bought that cutter (2 footer) which is really legit for the price and super easy to use.
we just bought like 10 rolls of 2x5 foot vinyl, i dont remember what kind, sorry. and we bought 100 yards of adhesive paper.
i use photoshop to create designs but the software it comes with is only for PCs so i just send it to the PC we use and from there it vectorizes it and then sends it to the cutter.
we got the cutter, the 10 rolls of vinyl, the 100 yards of adhesive, and some exacto knifes and stuff for $440 on ebay. (not of it used) and everything has been working great. once you get used to how everything works its mad easy.
 
Adobe Illustrator. Make everything a closed compound path. Replicate the design on an artboard sized to the cutter. Then just export it to the cutter software.
 
for simple stuff like block letters and simpkle banners, i use Gerber Composer

for the tech. stuff like designing logo's and such i use corel drawX3

both are really good programs to use.

not to be weird but, i remember u from the last day of stratton last year.i was with my buddy, and i think u were with ur crew(purple vest/sweatshirt)i remember one of ur friends sprayed my friend cuz they thought he was u hahah

still works for me, although compared to illustrator, oh boy...
 
A vector is basically an image that can be resized without decreasing the quality.

There is a pretty easy way to do it in both photoshop and illustrator, but I use vector magic, which is extremely easy and accurate. I cost alot, but there is a crack somewhere on the web....

I use signcut productivity pro for cutting and it seems to be working pretty well so far...

and yeah haha i remember my friend being like "woops, just sprayed some dood thinking it was you. but it wasn't." and then later you NS messaged me saying how one of my friends sprayed you haha.
