Vinyl/die-cut machines

Im not exactly experienced in vinyl cutting, but i have used one in tech class at school. The vinyl cutter, like that thing, cuts out the desired design on a peice of vinyl with only the backing paper on it. A die cut is something that comes out of that then it has a peice of masking tape like material placed on top so that you can apply the sticker better. Its not masking tape i just dont remember what it is. That is my 2 cents, correct me if im mistaken.

Its alright, I have one of the PCUTs and I had to modify it to make it work better.
Really any cutter is alright if you maintain it properly. Alot of kids on here have their cutters broke, and its prolly due to poor maintenance. I lube my blades and wheels alot and make sure the belts havent slipped.
The tracking is pretty bad on them though, good luck doing cuts longer than 3 feet (car decals, etc, are a bitch)
all in all, if you want to go legit, get a roland. thats what Im getting pretty soon

400$ is cheap as hell.
Not to sound like a claimfest, but the cheapest thing in my studio is $400, and its not even that good. My synth was 1200$, and its not even the best. for that money you can get a VERY nice roland cutter.
die cutting is honestly one of the cheapest things you can get into

my school has an $800 vynll cutter and its so dope, i make stickers 3rd period every day, i can get the like model and brand for u if u want
