Vinny raped that dub, like wtf, I don't even know what it is? dub bio 16 with some crazy liu kang grab? Really happy for him, lately the judges have been fucking with him and I'm glad he's finally on top.

I don't think he should have come first, Henrik doesn't just triples, he butters triple and switch butters, nobody does this, so fair enough he got first place, and he was looking particularly steezy at the final.

those were the ugliest two doubles i have ever seen; hideous grab with a ton of flailing and that fast late spinning at the end of both was awful.
 
he did the flat 3 yesterday because he couldnt breathe at the time but he tweeted later it was nothing, guess he's ok now.

not some flying interpretive dance kinda execution but fuck it, IMO his second run was one of my favorite big air tricks that ive ever seen. i actually liked the last little 540 he manages to fit in the end then he hits the ground HARD like a fucking meteor and the stars all aligned and shone their divine light down on Vinny and i dont really know where im going with this.

it just looks like an octo grab, which is already the worst grab in existence, but with your legs kind of uncomfortably crossed. it might be tech and it might be crazy, but it don't look good.

what has happened to everyone's perspective? What ever happened to style? Giving Vinny praise for not doing a triple when his doubles are the ugliest fucking thing I've ever seen. Crazy axis for sure, but ugly as fuck with ugly grabs. No thank you. I'll take the smooth stylings of Henrik or Jossi over that any day.
 
style takes many shapes. doing a double bio whilst holding a double grab, in screamin seamen not to mention, is one of its shapes.

How the FUCK does he land with that much impact, that much rotation, that far down the landing?

Seriously fucking impressed. I've been a fan of Vinnie since day one, and a fan of Charles since back when Tanner was calling one footers gay, but god damn. Vinnie is next fucking level. He must be strong as fuck to stomp that shit.

Vinny's switch landings were just straight explosive. Like holy hell it was just so bad ass. Taking it to the gucci plateau every time.
 
Fairly positive Vinni$ has titanium knees. At least that's the word on the street.

How else do his knees not explode on those switch landings?
 
Can anyone clarify why ABM is going to the Olympics for Canada but not Gagnier? I thought they're both from quebec but maybe I'm mistaken.

Obviously ABM had a better comp season in total but can't they send more than one slope style skier and wouldn't they want Gagnier?
 
Im probably completely wrong but you have to compete in slope events throughout the season to qualify for the team right?

I don't think vinnie competed very much this season..but I could be completely wrong. Good point though. He kills it
 
There was rumour in other threads that his focus is on big air and he wasn't looking to compete in the Olympics for slope. Similar reasoning to B-Dog. How true that is, no idea, he's on here pretty frequently though so maybe he can clear that up?

I think he was also riding with Inspired during the early season, hopefully he films with them this year. That would be sooo tight. .
 
Most likely to clear up space for the other disciplines that Canada feels there is a better chance at medalling in. I really wish that the was going just to make it more exciting for the Canadian viewers and to take a little bit of pressure of of ABM.

 
Kid has some crazy suspension. Every trick he took to the bottom of the landing. I wouldnt be surprised if there were massive indents from where he landed.

He needs to rename that "genie" grab or whatever tho.
