Vimeo officially sucks, how about Wistia?

Vimeo officially sucks for those of us who do video production as part of their career. The adaptive streaming thing they're doing is the worst decision ever. I can't be showing potential clients my video portfolio in 360p, it's ridiculous.

What are other people doing for video hosting now? I signed up for Wistia today and I'm very impressed so far.

If a client cant know to switch to 1080 then they wont know good quality work most likely.

The issue there is Vimeo's design though. Nobody is gonna know to hit "HD" when it's technically already showing that you're watching in HD. Vimeo claims to be working on a new way to show to choose HD, but who knows how long that'll take.

I feel, in a sense it would be better to just throw it on google drive then and showcase it to them that way. It's the same player as youtube but there's no monetizing errors.

Vimeo is awful. So glad I switched back three years ago, but feel for everyone who has been paying for years and have to deal with their shitty decisions. Just use youtube, sure it's not 'pro' but most clients prefer it anyways and it's UI is so damn easy compared to vimeo.
