I think its pretty safe to say that vimeo can now be considered far superior to most video hosting sites.
 
Too bad the limit is 510mb or something or you need to have an PLUS account to really profit of those advantage..
 
I don't know the numbers but it's like flickr, not that much money for a lot more space + features. I think if your shootin 1080p you probably wouldn't mind upgrading
 
It's 39.99 or 49.99 for a year.

I'm shooting in 1080p, problem is, i'm doing ONE big edit a year. It's not gonna be very useful. BUT I'm not hatin' on vimeo, because I LOVE how it works, and it's pretty much the most perfect platform for videos as of now.
 
i can't wait to shoot some 1080 and upload it

i don't want to go to plus though, so its gonna be like a super dope 23 second edit i guess

Yes sooo truthful, and the way your"profile" works with contacts and likes. it is just more useful to anyone posting a video with the intention to get serious comments and critiques. and there is far less bull shit going on on vimeo.
 
your right but i think vimeo is more user friendly because of less copyright laws and youtube is just a big sold out corporation but i dont have that many problems with them
