well because the idea of it is cool, and it will come in handy for a lot of filmmakers.

could be very handy for me given i am in school and they come down hard on kids for not getting permits, using copyrighted shit, etc.

for people who require cheap music for films, i'm fairly confident this will be VERY popular, just like many other online commercial music stores

Actually Will you have made some good points that have made me re think what I had posted. That music library will expand over time and the concept of it is cool I am just waiting for some better songs haha.

for sure.

the unfortunate fact is that libraries with cheap/free music for commercial use will never have very good music. but for people who can't fuck around with copyright laws and need music for their project, these types of resources are awesome. i've used online music stores for commercial use where the songs are around $100 each and even then you have to wade through a lot of shitty music to find anything good. getting rights to really good music can cost a serious amount of cash.
