I don't know much about exporting with vegas (i use final cut), but what i did to find good settings was just playing around with them alot, and eventually you'll find something that works...
you could also use google...

i used a Olympus Stylus 850 SW (the one that can go underwater).

all i really need to know is like how do i upload using High Quality ... AND ... how do i make my video less blurry using Vimeo.

if someone could answer these 2 questions that would be awesome. (remmeber; i use sony vegas 9 platium).

The quality is bad because:

This is a point and shoot camera made for pictures and not even a good one at that.

You rendered at 320x240

AVI Movie with Sound; - Qucik google I found out your cameras recording settings

640x480 (30/15fps) - Use this one

320x240 (30/15fps)

Vimeo wont make it less blurry the camera is a cheap thing

Best results

Render at 640x480

Rednering Quality - Best

Other thing(i think video quality) - %100

Mainconcept (mp4)

the range thing with really high numbers

Max: 8,000,000

avg: 5,000,000

these settings will make it better but that camera is still terrible

MP4

Download Quicktime version

320x240, 4.92MB

That is why.

should be .mov

should be 720x480

should be a lot bigger than 5MB.

I'm basically telling you, learn how to compress.

By 720x480, i might actually mean 640x480. I always get them mixed up, my memory of SD dimensions is rough.

thanks a ton guys. +k for the fast as hell support.

****another quick question...what should some of my settings be at for exporting//pubiishing my videos to Vimeo from a 3ccd sony dcr vx2000...???

no i never use that shitty camera for video stuff, i only use my vx2k ... but i was sooo bored that i did indeed make a video with some of that camera shitty ass footage. pleas post those settings Matt ... i dont know if it makes a difference...but i am using Sony Vegas 9 Platium Edition to edit and publish with....

wait so your saying you have a vx2k and you dont know what your render settings are? dude youtube is the way to go on this one. theres so much more shit on youtube and google than here

ive rendered my vx2000s videos like 5 different times and they turned out good and most of the times great. but i thought you were going to give me some like expert rendering tips for it. lol. but i dont need them, unless you have like actuall tight-ass settings that no one knows about

this thread is basically over, unless you really have something cool to say.

thanks for the help tho guys
