So heres my question, i just got a new laptop and i am looking for a new program so look through my RAW photos i took for the university, currently i dont have one so i am wondering if anyone on NS uses one that is quick and fast. Respect and KARMA to ALL, muchos gracia

yes they do but i want a quick viewer like the one preinstalled alreaddy but able to view RAW

and Allen i highly suggest you start shooting RAW if you can, it enables a lot more colour complexity to be captured and from what i can tell it does help a tad in terms of looks.

^^ your karma's now at 10 ill try those out and hopefully theyll do alright MERCI

Hey man, get lightroom!

I use it and it's awesome! it processes raw files and it's great for storing, organizing, and viewing your photos. really quick and easy as well.

give it a shot!

i tried that but when i was looking at the pics almost fullscreen they seemed pixelated a lot

JOSH AND PARKBOY ...i have lightroom but thanks its a great tool and does everything super quick, i mostly use it for doing black and white converesions...but its really quick organizer tool

needless to say thats not to big of a problem, i figure anyways even i am doing sports photography the most shots ill take in sequence will be 3 or so...for skiing you could still do your 10 for a sequence but depends on your camera....even point and shoot cameras have the ability to shoot RAW these days

i know for my camera if you just go to the menu and select the differnt sizes you want the RAW options is there, but its shouldn't be to hard to find

PICASA for the WIN...does it all, thanks so much so any of you who need a great quick RAW viewer download PICASA. K+ to all
