Videos freezing on last frame of preceding ad

Is anyone else having this problem? About half the videos I've tried to watch in the past couple weeks have played through the ad, then frozen on the last frame and not gone to the actual video

Happens to me. Running firefox on OX 10.9.4. I think I might've seen there's a way to fix this somehow, but I'm not sure.

When I want to watch a video, I copy the URL over to safari and it works.

On chrome this morning, vids aren't playing at all. I get a play button in the middle with a sorta white shadow behind it
