Video nano ipods and skiing ?

good idea or not ? i've gone skiing with other ipods but they were bigger ones with moving prts/hard drives and it ended terribly by the end of the season... but i've had a 2g shuffle thats basically bomb proof..

nanos use flash memory and the new ones are made the shake violently(shuffle feature) so that would be fine. the old hard drive ones always fuck up with skiing.

I ski with my 160 gig all the time never had any issues

i ski with my 80gb ipod classic and never have any problems

I have one that I use while skiing and it works great. The video camera is pretty crap though, and located at the bottom corner of the ipod, so really hard to use without covering it with a finger.

ipod touch. just put it in a pocket that it wont get in the way

my nano has had zero problems skiing..works real nice actually
