No, 40's are of beer or "malt liquor" aka beer. I'm assuiming you're talking about colt 45's and OE's, but they are just 6% alcohol making it like drinking 13.3 beers of Sam Adams Winter Lager or like drinking 13.3 Molson Golden's for you Canadians.

I was going to interject and say that when you are drinking 40's, you're drinking stronger beer than normal, but there is only a small difference in the United States I see. Canadian 40's have typically 7.0%-10% alcohol but American typically only have 4.5%-6.5%. Strange. You also make your coolers using malt liquor instead of vodka or wine.

when i think of 40s i think of liquor like vodka and shit and if anyone i know tried 4 of those, it would be death. but theres other factors so i believe it...shiiiit haha
