they make money buy selling movies probably. Premieres make some money and sponsors make some too.

it depends on the company. Matchstick gets nearly 1 million a year, so they end up keeping a take so they can have their office and drive nice cars. TGR puts almost if not all into the movies and relies on sales, but they also make commercials and do a million other things (they have 12 full time employees) You don't make much on movie sales though, since the cut after distribution is between 2-4 dollars per movie. so lets say you sell 25,000 copies thats 100,000 tops in sales. it really depends on the company how they are making the money.
