adobe premiere is awesome and good for you with the atomic quote

I know it's a bit early this year, but every year somebody starts a thread about their goals for the season (that have to do with skiing, not fucking a cheerleader) and you know the rest.

real stuff is better than stuff on a screen, porn to sex, skiing to ns

Yeah, a big problem might be using USB. If you can, upgrade to firewire, a card is only like $30. USB 2.0 is supposed to be as fast or faster then firewire, but its more expensive. Also, check to see what your computer is importing the video as, it might be compressing it as it comes in, if thats true try to find a way to change it to AVI as it comes in. If you have anymore questions just PM me.

well i am uploading thur a firewire, cause it doesnt work anyways throgh a usb. and it i have the options of uploading it as a video file or a all files. if this helps anyone thanks, if you want more info to try to help me then either keep this forum going or pm me

Umm I'm pretty sure it is because of Windows Movies Makers uploadign capabilities, my friend uploaded a coupel shots and the quality wasn't so hot. What I would suggest is to go download the preview version of premiere off adobe.com. Or you could just dl the full version but I really wouldn't suggest going out and buying it unless you have the money to spend.

well i am on dial up so i admagine it will take a while to download the full version but can anyone post a link for the preview. thanks. that is good then if it is the program

if i am correct, windows movie maker uploads in its own proprietary format, which sucks. i suggest pinnacle studio 9, mostly because its really easy to use, so coming from windows movie maker shouldnt be a huge task for you. also,if you have to buy it, its way more affordable than premiere.

that could help too, but does everyone agree that windows movie maker sucks and a different program would help?

sometimes called 'capturing'

you don't 'transfer' your footage..you 're-record' it to your computer..

but check your capture settings and make sure there stands DV AVI.

just go and screw with WMM, you can get it to crank out good quality. like before, do it in DV-AVI.
