Video editing software

I have a question for all the people who edit video footage on their computers. What software do you use? What kind of features does it have? I'm curious because I feel like making a simple video editing program; probably won't happen because all my programming projects fail.

i use pinnicle which i just got, it works great and if you buy it with the capture card you can save yourself atleast 10 bucks

i HAVE a adobe premiere. Very nice, it is the best program and costs like 400 dollars. But u can crack the program and get it for free.

I also have one, that is very complyt, and very is easy to use, it is could Video DElux form Magix. I don t know if u can find it in the states..........
