Video Editing Programs?

I just got a new laptop through my school. It's not a mac so i know i already made my first mistake.But its fast and it has alot of free space so i can do what i want with it. What is a good video editing program I can get for it that isnt going to drain my bank account?

 
that is new to me i always just download videos and music. Since iv been at school I havnt had access to those sites. but thanks il go check that out

 
u can get anything on kazaa. i downloaded a blender once then i made a smoothie

just search for adobe premiere pro and find the one with the complete cd ISO. then jsut burn that to a cd.

did it come with a serial number that worked i cant seem to find a working number

well obviously running a mac for editing is way better than running windows cuz they have final cut pro and its a pro editing software its THE thing u sould have on ur mac.

no dont download any apps off kazza. only download the .ISO of the app you want from Overnet, limewire or bittorent. When you download an ISO your downloading the same exact cd bought from the store, except it's virtual so you need a virtual harddrive to mount it. simple shit really

Whoah... what's all this nerd-speak.. this sounds relevant to a problem I am having. I have downloaded Adobe Premier Pro 7, but I can't get a working serial number. I have tried several. Any ideas?

 
if you are running a virtual harddrive sometimes newer games wont work like doom 3 i think. i dont know, just easyer to burn a cd
